Our Story
The Bagel Joint started on Ramtown-Greenville Road in 2022 with a short list of beliefs. A bagel should have a crust. It should have a chew. And it should taste like someone actually made it.
So that is what we do. We mix our own dough, boil every bagel, and roll them by hand. Nothing sits overnight waiting to be sold the next day. The coffee is on early, the griddle stays busy, and the line out front is mostly people we already know.
We are not trying to reinvent breakfast. We are trying to be the spot you swing by on the way to work, the one you bring a dozen from on Sunday, the name your kid learns before they learn to spell it.
How It’s Made
Mix & rest
Dough is mixed in small batches and given a long, cold rest. Flavor takes time, so we give it time.
Boil
Every bagel hits the kettle before it bakes. That is what gives you the shine and the chew.
Roll & bake
Shaped by hand and baked off in waves all morning, so the case is never sitting on yesterday.

Kitchen runs 6 to 2 daily. Online ordering wraps a little earlier, around 1:40.
